I told one of my daughters, Carrie, that I had decided to start a blog like so many people seem to be doing. Primarily so that out of town relatives could see what we were up to these days. She said, "Have someone pimp it for you then Mom" - What???? That sounded terrible to me until she explained that there are people out there who, for a fee, will design your site and basically "doll" it up. She knew of someone whose work she really appreciated and steered me toward her, Jennisa. Jennisa is a stay-at-home mom in South Dakota with a knack for this kind of thing and after an initial email to Jennisa on Friday night, by Sunday night, I had a fabulous new look. I was able to dictate "my favorite colors", the type of paper I liked, scanned and sent her pics of my family to include in my header and asked if we could include a butterfly as my mom (who died suddenly in 2000) loved butterflies - I also asked her if she could include stitching on my name in the header as I love to scrap and frequently use that technique in my work - Sooooo, I can't take any credit for it, but Jennisa can. She is fast, inexpensive and does whatever you'd like so check her out - she's listed in the right margin of my blog and I can highly recommend her. I also found out that her husband is originally from Aberbeen, S.D. which is my husband's hometown too - small world, huh?

I knew you would like her stuff. Your blog looks very "you." I think it turned out super cute.
I couldn't be more thrilled with the finished look - the gal is absolutely awesome to work with and very reasonable. Now, we have to turn Lisa onto to her.
